Remedy for Shih Tzu ear infection
This recipe dates back to our grandparents’ time when there were no animal medications available in pharmacies and supermarkets. It’s very simple, here it is:
- In a container, mix 1 cup of hot water and 1 cup of vinegar;
- Put the solution in a measuring bottle;
- Spray your little dog with the solution, especially on the infected areas;
- The solution won’t cause any discomfort to your pet;
- When the infection is in the ears, put the solution in a syringe and wash the dog’s ear;
- Clean the ears with cotton to remove all the liquid;
- For small infections, you can moisten cotton in the solution and clean your dog’s ears every 2 days;
- Only wash the ear if your dog really has an infection;
- When the infection is very strong, before applying the solution, wash the ear with hydrogen peroxide;
- But be careful, don’t keep the hydrogen peroxide near your pet to prevent them from ingesting it and having serious health problems!
